MINISTRY TRAINING


There are many areas in the church to receive specialized training.

WOMEN OF DESTINY
Women of Destiny is a fellowship for ladies of all ages! You will develop the most amazing relationships, praise and worship together, experience profound teachings, get set on course in your life, and be filled with God’s joy! The Bible study is on Wednesdays at 10:00 am & Thursdays at 7:00 pm.

DAUGHTERS OF DESTINY
Daughters of Destiny is for women ages 18 to whatever you consider young. It is designed to give young women a place to learn more about the Lord with women their own age. Meetings include exciting worship with live music and Bible teaching from inspiring speakers who share life-changing truth from their hearts.

You can join in fellowship and fun as we celebrate together with great friends, new and old. Learn from the Word as you enjoy spending time with your girlfriends, munching on some goodies and hearing some awesome and uplifting teachings.

MOMS OF DESTINY
Moms of Destiny is a place where moms of any age, with children of any age, future moms and those of you pregnant women, you’re moms too! We have a place for you! Come join this community of Christian moms whose purpose is to be a mom on purpose. We learn how to be proactive in our prayer over our children and our homes. This is a time for you to be with other moms and to take time for yourself to grow in the Word.

MEN OF DESTINY
Men’s ministry is about relationships, prayer and spiritual growth. Two dynamic times of fellowship are available to men of all ages. Men of Destiny pray every Thursday morning from 6-7 am. Lives have been changed because two or more came into agreement during these tremendous times of seeking God’s direction.

MAN FACTOR
Our Thursday night Men’s Man Factor meeting is a time of fellowship and powerful teaching. While their wives are in on Thursday evening Women’s Ministry, men can enjoy good food and develop lasting friendships.

TRAIN UP A PARENT
An important part of building strong families is equipping parents to train their children according to sound biblical principles. Train up a Parent is about helping you become great parents. This thorough class, taught by Pastors Scot and Holly Anderson, gives you a tremendous amount of information and direction about how to handle everything that you might run into as a parent. We do this by giving you the biblical background needed to raise your children in the way they should go, so that they can become all God has destined them to be. MARRIAGE SEMINARS
Next marriage seminar begins: February 22-23, 2010
A marriage seminar that is practical, light-hearted and full of fun. This dynamic conference will help you and your spouse build the marriage of your dreams. Whether you're single, getting married, newly married or have been married for 50 years-you'll get valuable ideas you can use in your marriage now!

SATURDAY NIGHT DATE NIGHT
Partly to serve the large number of people now attending Living Word and partly to provide a service for those who have to work on Sunday, we have a service every Saturday night.

An added feature of this service is that we provide extended hours for the Nursery and Children’s ministry. You can now attend church from 5-6 p.m., and then go out on a date. We’ll watch and feed your kids for free until 10:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for parents of young children who have trouble finding babysitters.

WEDNESDAY 1Accord
A time of intense worship, teaching, and ministry time. Wednesday nights service begins at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary with Praise and Worship. Followed by a teaching from 7:00pm to 7:45pm. The service will then flow into ministry time. Childcare and programs available for all ages.

MINISTRY OF SERVICE
Find your place and purpose in the ministry of your church. If you would like to volunteer to serve the congregation in any area of the church, please call the church at 480-964-4463 and we will assist you right away.

SINGLES MINISTRIES
Building a strong and healthy family starts with building strong and healthy individuals!

The Singles Ministry develops singles so that they are mature and live in a way that reflects God’s love and brings Him glory. We empower singles to have loving, healthy relationships – with themselves, God, and others. Singleness is a state to be enjoyed, not tolerated, so this ministry also serves as a source of fun and fellowship. For this reason, we have a variety of terrific activities.

ALTAR MINISTRY
When visitors to Living Word make a decision to give their lives to Jesus it is important that they make a personal connection. Altar workers are available to pray with them and give that personal support. Become the extended hands and arms of Jesus as you welcome new believers to the Body of Christ.

PRAYER PARTNERS MINISTRY
Receive training on how to pray for and agree for the miraculous power of God to work in the lives of others. Our prayer partners serve at all of our main services.
