About Partnership
Covenant partnership continually builds, strengthens and supports the ministry of the gospel—and it makes a world of difference! It is a powerful bond that joins the Living Word TV and Partners together to achieve a common goal: To reach this world with the uncompromised Word of God.
Some of What Our Partners Are Doing in Our Community and Around the World
- I-Help Program – Feed homeless women here at the church both physically and spiritually. This is Congresswoman Higgins initiative. (Living Word has been given an award for this outreach from the City of Mesa)
- Sunshine Acres – provide volunteers work in resale store.
- Angel Tree - Christmas Gifts for children in need – 450 children were provided with new gifts in 2011. (This is a yearly event.)
- Thanksgiving Dinners for families in need – 175 full turkey dinners provided in 2011. (This is a yearly event.)
- Backpack Drive Event – provided 2000 backpacks full of school supplies for children in need, over 200 free children's hair cuts, provided free dental supplies, gave away brand new bikes and had prayer partners pray for families that wanted prayer. (This is a yearly event.)
- Living Word Bible Church Choir sings at retirement homes and Sunshine Acres regularly.
- Job Connection – Living Word Bible Church provides free job search assistance for anyone in need in our community.
- Worked with the State Faith Program
- St. Vincent DePaul Homeless Shelter, Mesa – Provide volunteers to give out food.
- Phoenix Food for the Hungry Soup Kitchen – Provide volunteers to give out food.

- City of Ahwatukee Chamber Member
- Orphanages - Support 2 in India with 16,000 children, 1 in Brazil, 1 in Uganda
- Rebuilt Haiti Orphanage – raised over $20,000 to rebuild orphanage destroyed in earthquake.
- Cambodia Housing Project – Committed to building 1000 homes – Built a community center, created a road with water runoff to prevent the severe flooding, built a rain water holding tank for fresh water for the people, a sewage system, and built 198 homes so far.
- MATV – National and international television syndication that reaches nations through the Word of God – 90 million homes worldwide.
- Living Word Ahwatukee Outreach – volunteers are assessing the needs in the community and meeting those needs along with Connecting to Serve.
- Rebuilt Church Burned Down in Georgia – $25,000
- Rebuilt Church Burned Down in Flagstaff, Arizona - $25,000
- Rebuilt Two Churches in India Destroyed by Tsunami - $25,000
- Relocated Church Destroyed in 9/11 and resettled them - $25,000

- State of AZ 3000 Club – Fresh produce provided at a nominal cost for families in need.
- Widow Assistance Program – free labor with affordable materials for repairs.
- Free GED Classes – offered to anyone.
- Moving Program – assist single moms and widows in moving their residence.
- Single Moms' Christmas Event - $7000 raised in 2011 that went to assisting single moms at Christmas. (This is a yearly event.)
- Adult and Youth Prison Ministry
- Phoenix Dream Center - Human Traffic Recovery Program – Collect and send funds regularly to assist in rescuing people.
- Feed the Hungry – Phoenix Homeless Shelter – provide volunteers to work in children's section while parents are in class, to serve meals and work at food bank.
- Governor Brewer's initiative for foster children ages 15-18 (transitioning them out of foster care system) – provide free mentorship and tutoring for their adult success.
- Save the Family Homeless Shelter – donate household items, and provide volunteers to clean, paint homes for move in. Living Word has also sponsored two single-mom families.
- City of Mesa 4th of July Weekend Event – Provided volunteers to run the children's game area for the community.
- Louis Palau, AZ City Fest – Volunteers assisted in this event.
- Cardon Children's Hospital, Mesa, AZ – Collect and distribute free teddy bears to children in hospital. (This is a yearly event.)
- Mexico Missionary – Provide backpacks at school time, Christmas presents at Christmas time (yearly) and have supported an orphanage in Mexico.
- VSR Music Crusades – Living Word VSR Record Label traveled to Cambodia, Communist North Viet Nam, India, Uganda, and Thailand ministering through music to thousands and thousands. Through these crusades, Living Word was connected with the Cambodia Project and orphanages they now support.
- Bible College in Uganda, Africa – created and provided a free curriculum - 100 churches signed up for 200 hours of educational training.
- Hurricane Katrina – Crisis response – brought in many families and provided housing for them, cared for them working with the Crisis Center. Provided six months rent and furniture in Phoenix. Sent teams to help family and extended family in New Orleans.

Our Partners are the heart of this ministry, which is why Dr. Tom Anderson, Dr. Maureen Anderson, Jason Anderson, Scot Anderson and the entire Living Word TV staff pray for their Partners daily.
